That was the sound heard in the DARTON offices last Wednesday afternoon that caused our neighbors in the law office next door to believe they heard the sound of a violent car crash.
The source?
The glass desk of Rochelle Rivas (DARTON co-founder) spontaneously exploded. Yes, that is correct. The desk spontaneously exploded.
Thankfully nobody was hurt and we have since come to understand that, while unusual, the phenomenon of exploding glass desks has been experienced by others. Our research points to solar heating of the desk to be the likely culprit.
