Denise Altman is the consummate professional who is extremely knowledgable and intuitive about helping businesses find the "right" people for the right positions in any work environment. She is an amazing listener who can evaluate a situation successfully and apply her insights to the recruitment, selection and training process so that people are well chosen and they get off to the right start.

Denise is also incredibly keen at analyzing personalities, behavior and scenarios so that she can counsel on avenues for improving environments and performances within any enterprise.

I have known Denise for many years and can proudly say that she is well-qualified and brings great experience to each endeavor in which she operates. I would highly recommend her to others. Don't make the mistake of waiting too long to call on her. Most problems are more easily fixed if they are confronted earlier rather than later!

There already is big business on the way throughout the united states. Here in Charlotte Bank of America has most of the gold level 'green' buildings in uptown. This is based off of the US Green Building Council's LEED rating system (http://www.usgbc.org/).

The National Homebuilders Association has created a new 'Green Building Program' with a certification that can also be achieved (http://www.nahbgreen.org/).

Obtaining any of these certifications is a daunting task, but one that has a more aggressive payback that energy efficiency traditionally has.

There is no question that as corporate America makes the move, the rules will remain complex and the certifications more so. I see room for many enter this field.

This was an interesting article. I think the tips are exactly right. It is extremely difficult to be on time and on budget without following all of these tips. My experience shows that tips 2 and 5 are especially crucial.

Tip 2 gets at the heart of establishing expectations. How often have we seen that 2 or more people's expectations are not aligned?

Tip 5 gets at the heart of milestones as it relates to project exit strategy. Without knowing the cost of a project in its phases and the associated timeline, it is difficult to measure progress and make a go/no-go decision.
